Born and raised in the musical heritage city of Macon, Georgia. Rich in musical history by artists like the Allman Brothers Band, Otis Redding, Little Richard and Jason Aldean. Jaukeem “Jaydoire” Balcom's passion and love for music and dance was destined. He started dancing and performing at the young age of 18. While residing in Macon, Jaukeem taught hip hop, creative movement, and mime with Phillip's Children’s Performing Art Studio and studied West African with Hayiya Dance Theater under the direction of Pilar Lowden in 2012.
Destined for greatness and a life of empowering people through the art and ministry of dance, Jaydoire began working and ministering through mime with friend and mentor Nicholas Farley, executive director of IMIME, Inc. The dynamic duo was a part of the well known mime ministry ‘Anointed Expressions”. Jaydoire currently serves as a mime leader and choreographer for the IMIME, Inc. a non-profit organization. He lives in Memphis, Tennessee where he continues his study of performing arts and dance. In May 2015 he received his bachelors of Professional Studies with a concentration in dance degree from the University of Memphis.
Jaydoire has worked with many dance companies and continues to do community service and outreach in Memphis. He excels in Hip hop and contemporary style dance, but is always looking forward to growth in all areas of dance and performance arts. Jaydoire is currently employed with CK Dance Studio for the Art. He is the leader of Miracle Temple Dance Troupe in Memphis, Tennessee under the leadership of Pastor Benjamin L. Smith. Jaydoire has a heart for people and loves serving his community and developing youth through the artistic expressions and movements of mime and dance.
